At Franklin Art Glass Studios we know that the idea of creating a custom stained glass window can sound like a daunting task, but we have streamlined the process for you into 5 easy steps to make it both an easy and enjoyable experience.

1. Stop by:

The first step in the process is to come in and see us. Some projects may be started with a consultation over the phone or via email. However, a majority of the time we prefer to have an in person consultation to discuss ideas, show you the studio, and our production processes. At our initial consultation design possibilities are discussed. If you don’t have a concept in mind and are looking for some direction we have experienced artisans and numerous portfolio books to help you generate ideas.

2. Drawing & Glass Selection:

We create full scale drawings of your project and invite you back to our studio for a consultation with one of our knowledgeable artists. At this meeting you will view the life sized hand drawn custom creation. Upon talking with our artists and making sure every aspect of the line art is to your liking we move on to the glass selection. In the glass selection process our artists will help walk you through choosing just the right glass from our over 1,900 glass choices. We encourage you to bring in paint, carpet, or tile samples if you choose to match or coordinate your stained glass into your existing home decor.

3. Production:

After all artwork and glass selections are finalized and signed off on, your project is sent to our in-house production area. Our team of skilled craftsmen will cut, glaze, cement, and clean your project.

4. Completion & Installation:

If you are picking up and installing your panel you will be notified that it is complete. If we are installing the panel you will be contacted to set up an installation appointment convenient to your schedule. Never subcontracted, our skilled installers travel nationwide to install projects big and small; they have the skill and knowledge to install your project safely and neatly and with the customer service to answer any questions you may have before leaving.

5. Enjoy:
